Sony Recalls 535,000 Vaio Laptops Due To Burn Hazard.

Reports from various sources claim that Sony has recalled nearly 535,000 Vaio Laptops with 230,000 from the U.S. alone regarding the new issues of burn hazard. Several complaints have been registered to Sony that many customers faced problems of burn hazard due to over heating and causing deformed keyboards and casings.

So as an precautions move Sony have recalled such huge number of laptops back and however there are no reports of any injuries to any one so far. According to NationalLedger claims that the VPCF11 and VPCCW2 are much defected models which has created more complaints so for and they came in a wide variety of colors and have been sold at online and retail stores.

U.S. Consumer Product Commission has advised owners of these defective laptops to go directly to the Sony website for instructions on how to update the computer’s BIOS firmware. The organization added that, “This firmware will prevent the computer from overheating. The firmware update will also be available through the VAIO Update software program installed on the recalled computers.” Sony has also come up with a Customer care number 866-496-7669 as they will help you in the assistance of updating the laptop if there are any doubts.
