Marilyn Monroe Chest X-ray fetched $45,000

It seems still people are crazy over the Marilyn Monroe and they are about to get any thing which have been owned by the world’s glamour actress no matter how much they cost. In the latest auction of the Hollywood icon and it is still amazing that she is still in the hearts of the people who died before 48 years in an undisclosed manner, a set of three Monroe chest x-rays which fetched $45,000 at an auction on Sunday.

The 3 set of x-rays was taken in 1954 during the Monroe visit to a hospital for a general checkup and it seems one of the several Hollywood memorabilia sold at the Hollywood Legends auction held at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada. The auctioneer where expected that the x-ray set might get sell around about $3000 but it is really unbelievable that her chest x-ray went passed $45,000.
Another chair which was used by the actress was sold for $35,000 during the auction which clearly shows that people still loves the great lady.

Monroe, born Norma Jane Mortenson, died at the very young age of 36 from what is officially classified as a “probable suicide” by barbiturates overdose.
