Elano won’t be playing the much important match for Brazil against Netherlands in the quarterfinals and this would be a great set back for the world no: 1 football team. The in-form player Elano will not be playing the match against Netherlands due to right ankle showed a bone bruise and he needs a complete rest his trainer said. There is also no clear news whether he will be playing after the quarterfinals as the injury may take time to get cured completely and it would not be fair enough to force player to play without full heath condition. However the star player will be reexamined after the Friday match.
Elano met with an ivory coast player in the league matches where he got injured in the right ankle, and afterwards was told the injury was not serious, but after missing a few practices, and then feeling insecure about the ankle, was re evaluated.
Elano has been the goal scorer for Brazil during the league round and was later ruled out of other games as a precaution. Elano has played in 46 World Cup matches for Brazil, and scored 9 goals in that time. Daniel Alves will replace the Brazilian star in the upcoming contest.
